Responsibilities
As Vice President and General Manager of O.R.E. Development Corporation (O.R.E.), Michael oversees the design, project management, leasing, financing, land development and construction of all projects located in the Canadian provinces.
Experience
Michael is an experienced developer and a native of the Toronto area. He has deep roots in the Toronto real estate and development communities and knows the Canadian market very well. Michael joined the U.S.-based Opus Group and opened its new Canadian office under the name O.R.E. Development Corporation in April 2004.
Prior to joining O.R.E., Michael established his own development company and aligned his development expertise with a large Canadian Pension Fund. He recently completed a successful 160-acre industrial land assembly and development in Brantford, Ontario, with Ferrero Canada, as well as a 176,000-square-foot speculative industrial building in Toronto.
For six years prior, Michael was the Executive Vice President of a privately owned real estate development company located in Toronto. He established the design/build department and was responsible for the development, site selection and acquisition, legal, financing and sale components of all new developments. Michael has managed design/build and development divisions for various companies in the GTA for over 15 years.

Qualifications
Michael is a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and is a Chartered Accountant. He has also completed the Senior Executive Program at the University of Western Ontario, the Financial Management Program at Columbia University Graduate School of Business, and the Executive Program for Smaller Companies at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
